May and a Happy Birthday!

We had such a busy month in May! We spent two weeks of it with family, split between a surprise visit to Utah, to surprise my dad, and celebrate Rykers birthday. When we came back to Pensacola we had a few days to recoup before Marks family reunion/ beach vacation, where we celebrated Rykers birth day again, lucky boy!

While in Utah, we surprised my dad with the help of Maryann by throwing a surprise Cinco de Mayo party which turned out so cute. We also went to the zoo with family, and friends, and had a birthday party for Ryker.

My mom and Jana decorated/ helped me plan ( thank you pintrest!), all i had to do was the food and give them ideas of what I wanted. I really couldn't have imagined how cute it would turn out, they worked hard to get all the decorations made and i'm so grateful they saw my vision and made it come to life.

We ate at one of our favorite restaurants in Springville with family, and enjoyed spending time with our family and visiting friends!

Here are some pictures from our trip to Utah, the beach vacation/family reunion with Marks family, and both of Rykers birthday parties.

Looking out the window as while we waited to take off

Lil Love Lounge, is a kid friendly area in the Dallas Airport, We let Ryker stretch his legs and play during our layover.

When we got to my moms house, we saw all of the decorations that she and my sister had made for Rykers first birthday. They did such a good job, and it turned out better than I could have imagined, it helps that my brother in law is a talented artist!

Brennan drew the monsters for Rykers Wilde one party. It turned out so good.

I wish we had a better picture of this, there were monster themed foods on the table.

I'll eat you up I love you so!

My moms dog BO, loves Ryker.

My wild One!

Rykers Smash cake. Mark made the frosting, and frosted it for me. I think he did a great job!

I love, love, love his cake and how it turned out!

Eating some dinner before his cake smash. the boy loves his peas.

My nephew Van. Man I love this cute boy!

My dad and Ryker. Little twiners.

The birthday boy and his party guests ( minus Heather and Craig, who were taking the picture)

Ryker got his first big boy hair cut, by his Aunt Jana, she did such a good job and he looked so handsome after.

We went to Halls Farm and saw the piglets, baby chickens, and some adorable baby goats

Visiting Grandpa and Grandma Alley

I finally added purple to my hair, and I loved it, but it washed out within a month.

Van Van and Ryker took a bath together, Ryker didn't really enjoy having a tub mate .

MaStrap Tank is one of our favorites in Springville. Ryker loved the all the fans, and decorations. My dad and Maryann, and Jana and her family joined us too!

Ryker loved the fan

Girls breakfast with Marks cousins, and all our kids. Lets just say, trying to make breakfast and keep this many kids entertained was challenging, but fun too. I love these babies and their mommas, and was glad I got to spend time with them

Everyone was ready for nap time.
Rykers birthday present from grandpa and grandma, He got a music box, and he likes to carry it around while it plays its song.

Saying goodbyes at the airport. My dad and Maryann drove us to the airport, and my mom, sister and grandma came to say goodbye too.

We got back to Pensacola and had a couple days to recoup before Marks family got there. We had so much fun relaxing on the beach, spending time with Marks family, and going to dinner with his siblings.

We also celebrated Rykers birthday again, on his actual birthday with Marks family. He didn't really care about his cake, but loved his toys, especially his motorcycle.

Grandma Terri made him a tepee for his birthday, and Grandpa Doug cut poles from the bamboo they have growing in their back yard. His tepee is so fun, he likes running in and out of it, and playing with toys in there. He also likes to watch movies while sitting in his tepee

Pete the cat is his favorite book, now he has a stuffed pete the cat!

Smash cake

Our beach house

wagon rides were a favorite with all the grand kids

May was good to us. We love having visitors, and we love visiting with family and good friends
