BOB Pro Revolution running Stroller and Pregnancy weeks 28-39
I know I've found it comforting, and interesting to see how different all
of our bodies look during pregnancy. I'm glad that I've Documented
my changing shape. I'm going to be 40 weeks on Saturday, if he decides to stay
put, which statistically there is a 75% chance that he will.
I'm getting so excited, and anxious! Since I’m
not working, and I’ve gotten almost everything done that needs to be done
before he arrives, I feel like I’m just kind of bumming around waiting. I have
been going on walks almost daily, but with how active I have been, it's kind of killing me not to be at the gym at least twice
a week. I keep reminding myself that I can and will get back into the sling of
things once he's born. It will be fun, and challenging. I'm really looking
forward to being able to run again, and try out our new stroller! We took the
advice of some avid runners we know/ hundreds of positive reviews from people
online, and birth boards, and splurged on the BOB Pro Revolution Stroller.
We
bought this stroller off of Amazon, from our baby registry and it qualified for
the 15% off discount we got from registering through Amazons baby list. They
just recently came out with a 2016 addition of this stroller, and because of
that the 2011-2015 model was more affordable, but were still talking the 300$ +
range, with the discount though we were able to get it for around 290$ which
was a still of a deal for us. Trust me, I've done my research on this stroller,
searched everywhere online for a better deal, including KSL, and this is the
best price I found. With Amazon prime we got free two day shipping too which
was awesome!
Mark and I were so excited about the stroller,
that we took it on a 3 mile walk with our car seat attached. Yeah, we are those
people.
The stroller, strolls so smoothly, I can't
wait to try it out once Ryker is born. There are many different models of the
BOB, we chose the Pro because it has a hand break on the handle which adds some
security when running downhill. The BOB has a swiveling wheel that can also be
locked in place, I think the locking wheel is for long distance running. It
also has a really nice shock system, which makes it easy to use on trails (from
what I’ve read on reviews, I plan to update as I use it).
I know that avid runners, who would only use
the stroller for running, would be more interested in the BOB Iron man because
it has a wheel that is always locked, which is better for running I guess (
again, I learned this from reviews I read). Since we plan to use it for both,
and take it on dirt trails etc... We went with the Pro. I'm so, so, so excited
about this stroller, and also really grateful for my wonderful friends who
donated to our stroller fund as a baby shower gift. I can't wait for them to
see it and try it out if they want to, since I have some serious running
friends who I think would love the stroller.
One other thing to note about the stroller,
is that you will need to buy a car seat adapter in order to attach your car
seat to the stroller. I was worried that it would be hard to figure out how to
attach the car seat adapter, to the stroller, and the car seat to the adapter,
but it turns out that it is incredibly easy. Also, this website http://www.bobgear.com/carseatadapter,
was so helpful, and it didn't steer us wrong. We got the Graco click Connect 35
LX car seat, and the adapter works perfectly with it, and feels very secure.

if you don't plan to do a lot of running, I've read reviews about the baby city select jogging stroller, that is much more affordable, and sounds like an awesome stroller for everyday use, walking, and some jogging. If I weren't into running to much I think that's the stroller we would have chosen.

Baby bump progression pictures 28-39 weeks
34 Weeks- My friend Stephanie, who is pregnant too, convinced me to go get some sun with her, and take pictures. I'm glad we did. I feel like life is to short not to do the things you want to do, we ran into a few people while we were walking, it must have been a funny thing to see, two pregnant girls, hiking in sports bra! Also, these pictures are totally not flattering, but I didn't really care.

37 weeks
37 Weeks- I think women who are able to stay stylish, during pregnancy are amazing, it gets hard, especially near the end. Like I swear you start to out grow your maternity clothes, and they just aren't as comfortable either.
38 weeks, last day at the gym until after he is born, again not a flattering picture!
My appendix scar at 38 weeks, its actually stretched pretty good, I'm surprised!

39 weeks ha-ha
39 weeks! Its incredible how round ones body can be!
So there it is, hopefully the next post I write will be a birth story, or an announcement :)
